Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec Collection
Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec was a famous painter and printmaker in the late nineteenth century in Paris. He was a friend and contemporary of Vincent van Gogh. He became known for his posters advertising Paris Nightlife. This collection is based on a poster advertising Paris' famed Moulin Rouge Club in December of 1891. It depicts infamous Cancan dancer La Goulue dancing with Valentin le Dessosse as caricatures .
