Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec was a famous painter and printmaker in the late nineteenth century in Paris. He was a friend and contemporary of Vincent van Gogh. He became known for his posters advertising Paris Nightlife. This collection is based on a poster advertising a famed Club in December of 1891. It depicts infamous Cancan dancer La Goulue dancing with Valentin le Dessosse as caricatures. this wonderful scarf is printed beautifully on Erwin Pearl's special cashmere Blend. The scarf is in collaboration with the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam, 25 x 70 Inch
